CREATING WEB SOURCES FOR

A US HISTORY WEB QUEST

Students: You will be creating a U.S. history web quest on topics in early American history. You will work with a group of 3 other students on a common topic of research.

Your Goal: Choose 5 relevant, informative and insightful websites to place in the Early American web quest for future research on the topic your group has been assigned. All 5 websites must be turned in by the last week of the first six weeks on __________________.  

Grading: A “group grade” will be earned which consists of the following grading criteria:

  1. Have 5 relevant, informative and insightful web sites.
  2. All five websites are ACCESSIBLE and able to be linked to the web quest page.
  3. An evaluation written on each website noting what your group thought was particularly helpful and any anything you found lacking, annoying, etc. in the website. The form below should serve as a excellent outline of each summary. Comments on your websites may be included next to your website links on the web quest page.
  4. All five websites are specifically focused on your TOPIC and are useful in answering the question(s) on the topic.
